KSFY spoke to the Des Moines, Iowa native this Tuesday afternoon about life after the Olympics.Shawn Johnson won one gold and three silver medals at the Summer Games and in the process, became an american celebrity. "It's difficult sometimes, but I love it. I love the attention. It's nice when people come up to you and say they're proud of you. You know they were watching and you represented the USA," Johnson said.In the individual all-around, Johnson finished 2nd to teammate Natasha Luiken. The two time all-around world champion says she wasn't disappointed that she didn't come home with more gold. "I have no regrets. I'm most proud of my silver medal. Me and Natasia finished 1-and-2. And we made history and USA won," Johnson said.Olympic Gold Medalist Enjoying Post Olympic LifeNow the 17 year old junior in high school, who takes her courses online, travels the country putting on gymnastics exhibitions and has speaking engagements like the one she'll be doing here in Sioux Falls. "It's hectic. I've traveled every weekend since the Olympics and I toured for three monthes, but I love the attention and it's been fun," Johnson said.And she hasn't ruled competing in the 2012 Olympics in London. "I don't know yet. It's a hard decision because it's a four-year committment. Once the traveling settles down, we'll get back in the gym and we'll see how things go," said Johnson.
